Despacha: the system we built to organize store deliveries
It's not a courier. It's the software that organizes a store's deliveries, from the label to the photo at the door.
Despacha is the software we built to organize an online store's deliveries. We use it in our own operation, and today it's open to any store at despacha.app.
This is the first of three posts about Despacha. Over the next two weeks we'll cover how we published our first app on Google Play and how we integrated with Falabella Directo.
The problem we wanted to solve
In almost every store we know, deliveries live in three places at once: orders in the sales platform, addresses in a spreadsheet and coordination on WhatsApp. It works while there are only a few orders. When they grow, the same questions start: did the order go out? Who's taking it? Was it delivered or not?
We lived that while shipping for stores like Triballe and Mascota Vip Importadora. We didn't lack a courier. We lacked a way to know what was happening with each order without having to ask.
What Despacha is (and what it isn't)
The first thing we always clarify: Despacha is not a courier. It doesn't move parcels or supply drivers. The store decides who delivers, its own team or its usual delivery company, and Despacha organizes and records the operation.
In practice it does five things:
- Brings orders into one place. They come in from Shopify, WooCommerce, Tiendanube or Jumpseller, through the API, by hand or imported from Excel.
- Prints the label. A 100 × 152 mm label with a QR code and a tracking number.
- Gives the driver an app. They scan the label, see the day's route and mark each delivery from their phone.
- Keeps the customer informed. Every order has a tracking link with the store's branding.
- Stores proof of delivery. Photo, GPS location, time and the name of the person who received it.
The result: "did it arrive?" gets answered by looking at the dashboard, not by messaging anyone.
Why a studio builds its own software
At Mi Primera Tienda we build stores, websites and custom tools for other businesses. Building and running our own product is the best proof we have that we know how: Despacha runs every day with real orders, and when something breaks, we're the ones who answer. Everything we learn there (integrations, apps, support) goes into our clients' projects.
We've been building it since April 2026 on Next.js and Supabase, and it works in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
How much it costs
There's a permanent free plan with 20 shipments a month, no credit card needed. Paid plans start at CLP 20,000 + VAT per month for 150 orders. Current prices are at despacha.app/precios.
